Conference on the topic

Hëna e Plotë (Bedër) University in cooperation with the Embassy of Indonesia in Sofia and the International Chamber of Commerce and Development (ACITAD) organized a joint conference on the topic: " Indonesia - Albania, Economic Relations".

This event was attended by Indonesian Ambassador Mr. Saptomo Bunyan, theGeneral  Director of ACITAD Mr.Blenard Durmishi, Deputy Economy Minister Ms. Brunilda Paskali and representatives of the business world.

In his welcoming speech Rector of Bedër University Mr.Gjana as head of the host institution of this activity, after welcoming the attendants, informed them about the current progress and future projects, also about the international profile of the institution. One element of this profile are also the students from Indonesia studying at Hëna e Plotë (Bedër) University.

Deputy Minister Paskali after giving a summary of favorable conditions and advantages that Albania offers to foreign investors, focused on the current conditions of trade between the two countries. She presented to the attendees the Albanian government policies in the field of investment and expressed readiness to advance economic relations with Indonesia.

On his part, Indonesian Ambassador stressed the importance of combining two cultures and also the intensification of economic relations between the two countries. He stressed the favorable position of our country in region and called investors from Indonesia to discover opportunities that Albanian economy offers.
