Information Session on European Union Programs
Tempus Project Coordination Office in Albania held a seminar at “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University on projects and programs of study offered by the European Union. Coordinator of the office, Mrs. Edit Dibra, presented the Erasmus Mundus program, which explained how students can become part of this program, applying for full-time study and for short-term exchanges at various levels ranging from bachelor to post doctorate level.
Later, Ms. Debra presented in detail "Call of Six" of Tempus program and announced publicly the national priorities for 2013. She explained that this year the application deadline date will be 26 March 2013, while the budget will double from 1.9 to 3.8 million Euros. Mrs. Edit Dibra emphasized that the purpose of the Tempus Program is to modernize the higher education system and establish an area of cooperation in the countries surrounding the EU.
During the presentation she explained the method of application, finding partners, selection criteria, deadlines and other issues related to this process. In closing the session informative, Mrs. Edit Dibra, advised and encouraged academic staff of “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University to apply for Tempus projects, supported by the assistance of Tempus Office during the application process.
