"International Day", Diversity of Cultures in the University Environment.

International Club", in collaboration with other student clubs at “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University, organized today in the exhibition hall, the activity "International Day 2013". The purpose of this event was to introduce the cultures that come from different countries of the region and the world. Students with foreign nationality studying at “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University,, presented the culture and history of their countries.

The event was organized in numerous exhibition stands each of which contained the most prominent food, souvenirs, traditional costumes, national symbols, and other elements of the culture and traditions of the countries that were presented at the event.

In his speech Rector of the university, Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, praised the event as the most realized and most important activity so far, due to the fact that makes students to deepen further the diversity of cultures in the university.

Within the day, present at the event was the representative of the Embassy of the United States in Tirana, Mrs. Diane Nickeson. She had a conversation with students, focusing on the theme of "cultural diversity in the United States." The conversation was organized by questions and answers between students, who were highly interested, with their special guest. The event was supported by several diplomatic presences in Tirana, as was the Embassy of U.S., Egypt, Kosovo, Montenegro, Germany, Turkey etc.
