Law Department Students, visited Serious Crime Prosecution

Due to the justice week, students of law department of “Hëna e Plotë”( Bedër) Univesity had a visit in the premises of Prosecution of Serious Crimes.

Students were welcomed by the leaders of Prosecution of Serious Crimes Mr. Kostaq Beluli and Mr. Henrik Ligori who developed a conversation about the organisation and the role of prosecutor in the state of justice. During the conversation were discussed various topics like the function and organization of the prosecutor, issues that are under its jurisdiction, cooperation with other countries, mostly with the Italian state, about the crime prevention, role of the state to protect prosecutors, etc.

Special importance was given to special, new methods of investigation, like controlled delivery, simulated purchase and the role of undercover agent. The leaders claimed that annual analysis show a significant increase in the spread of crime, drug trafficking, as well as their hierarchical position in the range of crimes that are threatening to society.
