The meeting focused mainly on cultural diversity as a source of enrichment of civilizations and not as a ground conflict. This thing proves the diversity of the works, such as: "The lack of identity of the Albanian press " "The duality of national symbolism", "Culture and the Albanian identity in film and literature", "The presence and influence of propaganda in mass communication","The concept of Europe as a cultural identity ","Management of intercultural conflicts"and many others.
Among the many participants at the conference, who came from six countries , there were also present the ex-presidents of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Rexhep Meidani and Mr. Alfred Moisiu.
"Today, as a result of accelerated development we live in a rich world but we are bearing with many problems and risks that deserve to be studied and better known to you on the way of settlement. This is an imperative in the first place for scientific and research institutions, such as universities. Preservation and protection of identity is a challenge that should concern us. I congratulate you as this conference clearly shows that we are on the right track. "- said Mr. Moisiu during his greeting speech.
While Mr. Mejdani highlighted the importance of the digital revolution as an essential element in recognizing, protecting, strengthening and development of identities, nations and cultures as did the industrial revolution once.
ICH assured interdisciplinary environment for researchers, academics and specialists to present and discuss the latest innovations, trends and concerns, practical challenges encountered in research and solutions adopted in the field of identity, culture and communication.
