The Exhibition

Before the start of the workshop, the participants took part in the opening of the exhibition entitled "The Albanian transition in the headlines" prepared by the students of Communication Sciences.

After a hard work students were able to collect and carry out selection of newspaper front pages, reflecting the most important events of the transition from 1991 up to the present days. The exhibition was visited by representatives of local and national media as well as numerous guests.

Meanwhile the French ambassador said about the exhibition that "while the exhibition shows the reality of two decades after 1991, now we are facing a new transition which is related with the arrival of new information technologies. Today we are trying to understand how this technology affects the press, and to ensure that the press will be free to play its role in the democratic systems".
