“The Individual, The Society and Sustainable Development: From Globalization to Glocalization”

The Law Department of Bedër University in collaboration with the University of Bari “Aldo Moro” organized today the discussion panel on “The Individual, The Society and Sustainable Development: From Globalization to Glocalization”.

Having welcomed the attendants and introduced the attendants with the importance of the discussion of this topic, the Head of Law Department, also the moderator of today’s panel, Dr. Ferdinand Xhaferraj, expressed with conviction that this meeting would be the first of a long and beneficial journey of collaborations between the two universities in the field of academic experiences, both in students and scientific research.

Shortly after his speech, followed Professor Sebastiano Tafaro, who said in his speech that the academic world should provide the guidance on how the model of a country should be in accordance with the new political and economic terms.  Also, he focused on the role and the impact of the youths on prospects for the establishment of a stable democracy.

Whereas, the former Minister of Justice and a political expert, Mr. Enkelejd Alibeaj emphasized that the justice system must report on the way of performing its function and balance in the separation of powers, being that the only sovereign in a democratic society is the people.

The event proceeded with the references of other attending panellists. There were also numerous questions from students and professors of other departments who made the today’s panel more interactive.
