University Executives Visiting the University of Prizren

A delegation from “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University, headed by Rector of University, Dr.Ferdinandn Gjana, conducted a working visit to the University of Prizren. After signing the cooperation between the two universities by signing the agreement, the visit also served to discuss about concrete projects that may be implemented in the future.

The delegation of the “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University was hosted by the rector of the University of Prizren, Prof. Dr. Mazllum Baraliu and other leaders of this institution. Professor Dr. Baraliu welcomed Mr. Ferdinand Gjana and said that cooperation between the two universities takes a special significance at a time when relations between the two countries are quite intense. During the meeting they discussed the areas of cooperation between the two universities and concrete projects. In the framework of the agreement signed by both parties, they agreed to start exchange programs for students and academic staff. Dr. Gjana proposed his counterpart from Prizren to organize a joint conference in the field of education, as well as organizing several "workshops" with different themes.

During the meeting  local  media was present also, which were concerned about the ongoing relationship between universities in Albania and Kosovo. Rector of “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University , during the conversation with the media, expressed his determination to advance the academic cooperation between institutions in Albania and Kosovo as a necessity to better serve the education of future generations.
