Sientifis conference on thesis: "Family in a global contest"
Bedër in collaboration with the Catholic University “Zoja e Këshillit të Mirë” ("Our Lady of Good Counsel") organized a mutual scientific conference “The Family in a Global Context: Current and Future Perspectives”.
The President of the Republic of Albania, His Excellency Mr. Bujar Nishani congratulated the workings for the conference. He evaluated family as the main cell of the society in his address and invited the young generation and the institutions to serve it with devotion. His Excellency Vincenzo Paglia, President of the Papal Council on Family in Vatican attended the opening ceremony as well. In his address about family love, he emphasized the harmony in family as an essential element to be expanded in national level.
Whereas, H. E. Alberto Cutillo, Ambassador of Italy in Albania said in his address “Family is the main bond of our life and existence. Together, we must do more for this precious treasure by joining and working to improve the conditions for a healthy family”. Apostolic Nuncio in Albania attended the panel as well. According to him, spiritual viewpoint of various aspects of present society is fundamental to guarantee for the new generations a family based on a firm footing.
Bedër brings together researchers and academics from 13 countries around the world
Department of English Language and Literature at the Bedwr University, in collaboration with the British Council in Tirana and Sarajevo International BURCH University, organized the first international conference in English language and literature.
This interdisciplinary conference that brought together academics, researchers, and students of different levels, aims to create a cozy environment for the exchange of experiences and research work and to discuss possible solutions in this field.
In this first edition, the conference has approximately 40 reference came from 13 different countries of the world such as USA, England, Germany, Romania, Turkey, India, Iran, Nigeria, Hungary, Ukraine, Poland, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Egypt and of course Albania getting so an international character.
As keynote speakers at the conference were invited: 1. Prof. Stephen Tapscott, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. 2- PD.Dr. Miriam Wallraven, Eberhard Karls Tubingen University, Germany 3- Prof. Dr. Adina Ciugureanu, Ovidius University, Romania.
Takes place the 4th International Conference on Humanities
Hena e Plote Beder University in collaboration with the Institute and Foundation FRIED in Austria and JE Foundation in Turkey, organized the 4th International Conference on Humanities on the topic "Identity, Culture and Communication". Like in the previous years, the conference brought together academics, researchers, scientists and professionals from different fields to share research findings and other experiences regarding the topics of ICH.
Develops its works the 3rd Students Conference in Law
Law Department at Hena e Plote Beder University in cooperation with Students Club "Beder Law Academy" held the 3rd Students Conference on the topic "Challenges of Justice in the Process of Integration in the European Union".
With the participation of about 18 students from the first and second study cycles, they workded under the guidance of teachers of the Law Department, by addressing various current topics that constitute the core of the debate today in the Albanian justice.
Students of Law Departament represent Albania in the International Criminal Court in Hague
Law Departament at Hena e Plote Beder University will represent our country for the second consecutive year in the stimulating competition in the International Criminal Court in Hague. Students: Jonida Shtylla, Fatjona Halaj, Helena Dokaj, Amarildo Hoxha, Endri Cela and Kelmend Nezha constitute the competitive team in this international competition.
ICES brings together researchers and scholars from 6 countries of the world
Department of Educational Sciences at Hena e Plote Beder University organized for the 4th consecutive year the International Conference on Educational Sciences (ICES). Participants from 6 countries of the world took part at this conference refeering with over 70 papers that reflected their research work and studies in the field of education.
International conference, scholars from 11 countries discuss development in the media industry
Researchers from 11 countries and 21 different universities, were gathered at the international conference on media and communication studies, where were discussed developments and challenges facing the media industry. Academics and professionals from the media, from France, Ireland, Turkey, Belgium, Albania, Kosova and Macedonia, referred their scientific work aiming to provide answers to dilemmas and problems that have brought technological changes in media industry.

Hena e Plote Beder University professors refered to the international conference "Islam and Global Peace", which took place today at the Tirana International Hotel.
This conference organized by the Albanian Muslim Community in cooperation with Hena e Plote Beder University , Embassy of the United States and the European Commission Delegation in Tirana brought together a number of scholars and academics from countries such as: USA, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina ect.
