Collaboration with local government, signing an agreement with the Municipality of Elbasan

Hëna e Plotë Bedër University and Municipality of Elbasan today formalized the mutual cooperation by signing an agreement. This document aims to strengthen and expand the current cooperation between two institutions, specifically in areas of social service, education and culture.

The students help homeless families

On the day that symbolizes the sacrifice and brotherhood between people, students of Beder University were near homeless families in “ish-Dekor” and “Shkoze” in order to somehow facilitate their difficulties. In the framework of cooperation between Social Welfare and Youth Ministry and Beder University in order to help people in need, the first project  which consists  in collecting and sending aid packages to rom community families living under difficult conditions ,has been implemented.

“Internship” Programs, 120 students perform their practices home and abroad

Professional practices  make up an important element in the students’  formation offering them  practical skills, along with theoretical knowledge that they benefit from university auditorium. Starting from this point of view,  Beder University pays attention to offering opportunities in order that  all students perform their practices. The Students’ Council Office in cooperation with corresponding departments enabled 120 students of the first and second year in 7 Bachelor Programs to follow  the “internship “ program in public companies and institutions home and abroad .

“Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University concluded the accreditation process.After a long journey which started about a year ago, with the signing of the order nr.223. Dated on 06.04.2013 by the Ministry of Education and Science, Mr. Myqerem Tafaj, in accordance with the decision nr.469, dated 03.05.2013 of the Council of Accreditation, the university has received institutional accreditation and the accreditation of 15 programs of study at bachelor and master level.

International Cooperation On May 31 – June 1, 2013, a delegation from Hëna e Plotë (BEDËR) University chaired by the Rector, Dr. Ferdinand Gjana was invited to participate in the 3rd International Congress on Trends inHigher Education with the topic “Innovative and Entrepreneurial University” held in Istanbul. The purpose of the congress was to provide a unique international forum to discuss foresights and new trends of Innovative and Entrepreneurial University in the world.

Hëna e Plotë (BEDËR) University signed an International Collaboration Agreement On May 31 – June 1, 2013, a delegation from Hëna e Plotë (BEDËR) University chaired by the Rector, Dr. Ferdinand Gjana was invited to participate in the 3rd International Congress on Trends in Higher Education with the topic “Innovative and Entrepreneurial University” held in Istanbul. The Congress was organized by the International Association of Universities and Fatih University.
