Bedër University lecturers, participants in the Istanbul Summit

Representatives of Hëna e Plotë (Bedër) University along with some civil society representatives participated in the Istanbul Summit with the theme "Women's Perspectives on the agenda of the UN development after 2015".

Bedër University signs a cooperation agreement with the University of California in Pennsylvania

A delegation of Hëna e Plotë “Bedër” University headed by rector Dr.Ferdinand Gjana, was invited to participate in the Fourth International Congress on trends in higher education on the topic: ‘’Academic Entrepreneurship" held in Istanbul on 6-7 June 2014. The congress, attended by rectors and officials of over 300 universities from 45 countries, is organized by the International Association of Universities.

Working visit at University of Vienna

A delegation from “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University, headed by Prof. Dr. Ayhan Tekineş had a working visit at University of Vienna. Professor Tekineş and accompanying staff were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Prof. Dr. Sigrid Müller and the academic staff of the faculty. In the meeting, there were discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the two universities on exchange and mutual engagement in scientific research projects.

130 thousand book titles from "EBSCO Host Academic eBook Collection" added to university's library fund

130 thousand titles of books are added to library fund of “Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University. Thanks to the agreement signed with the EBSCO Host online library now students and academic staff can also use the fund of electronic library EBSCO Host.

"International Day 2014" variety of cultures at Bedër University

“Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University organized for the second consecutive year the event "International Day 2014''. Students Deanery, in collaboration with students clubs, formed a multicultural atmosphere in the university environment.

The project, Beder supports children of Elbasan Municipality

Hëna e Plotë (Bedër) University and the Municipality of Elbasan completed the first project in the education field. This project comes within the framework of cooperation agreement that these two institutions with each other have signed.

Winners of " Creative Youth English Essay Contest " competition announced

Hëna e Plotë (Bedër) University organized the awards ceremony for the competition "Creative Youth English Essay Contest". The contest is organized in collaboration with the British Council in Albania where it was attended by students from all schools of our country.

''Hëna e Plotë'' (Bedër) University supported the organization of  Education Directory where students from various schools of the capital competed with handicrafts in the contest titled ''contest of values".
