Blogger Olti Curri invited to the MarCom seminars
The tradition of MarCom's seminar cycle organized by the Department of Communication Sciences at Bedër University College this academic year opened its curtain by welcoming the well-known blogger Mr. Olti Curri.
The topic that Olti referred in this seminar was "Engaging Audiences in Digital Marketing". Conversation with students focused on the methods used in digital marketing to attract and retain audiences from social media, portals, bloggers, and various characters.
Topics during the conversation, multiple questions from students included ongoing changes in social networks, recent trends, how to manage profiles and social media pages to provide as many clicks and followers as possible, the influence of the virtual world has on the new, the consequences of using the Albanian language, the risk of misinformation messages on Facebook and the need to be young people who run their lives rather than examples on social networks or the virtual world, social importance for the development of today's youth and the influence they can have on structuring the country's future.
Due to the high interest of students and Olt's desire to meet the young students from Bedër University College, all agreed to hold similar meetings in the future.

The University College Bedër hosted today the welcome ceremony organized for the new academic year, attended by the academic and administrative staff of the institution, the Chairman of the Albanian Muslim Community, Mr. Skender Bruçaj, parents, new students and those who continue the studies currently.
Rector of the Institution Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, during his greeting speech after congratulating the participants, made a brief summary of the 7-year activity of the institution he leads, highlighting the quality of graduate students over the years as one of the greatest achievements of the institution.
"Your achievements in these three years are not just yours but are also a success for us, as one of the things we are proud of is the professionally trained students who get into the job market. Bedër University in these 7 years of activity has shown that in his mission to educate new generations in our country, quantity goes in the right relationship with quality.
We wish to look up and up in the professional aspect not only in Albania but also anywhere in the world. "
The ceremony continued with the greeting speech of the Head of the Muslim Community, Mr. Skender Bruçaj, who congratulated the students for a successful academic year and ensured the continued support of the Muslim Community to the Bedër University College.
"These 3 years you will spend in this institution, are of the most importance as it is now time for you to build strong foundations for your professional future. Make sure you take advantage of the opportunities that Bedër offers you so that you can take healthy steps for your future, " said Mr. Brucaj during his speech.
Further, the greetings and congratulations continued by the Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences, Prof. Dr. Assoc. Rahim Ombashi; Dr. William K. Martin lecture in the Department of English Language and Literature and from student Klara Haxhiu, representative of the student senate.
Upon completion of the ceremony, the new students were introduced to the composition of relevant departments, with basic information about the university as well as with the administrative units that will continue on the following day.

The project of 100 social scholarships is launched
Bedër University , in cooperation with "Hafiz Ali Korça" Foundation, a foundation founded by the Albanian Muslim Community, held today the launching ceremony of the project of 100 social scholarships, a project that enables dozens of high school students of this academic year to study with a schoolership up to 100% in one of the programs that this institution offers.
At this ceremony, held at Tirana International Hotel, there were a considerable number of personalities from the academic world, culture, art, media, business, education and sport. Mention here: Ms. Myfarete Laze, Mr. Dritan Boriçi, Noizy (Rigels Rajku), Ms. Sabahete Vishnja, Ms. Briseida Mema, Mr. Agron Tufa, Mishela Rapo, Mr. Said Fishta etc.
The Director of the Hafiz Ali Korça Education Foundation, Mr. Dritan Laçi, in his greeting speech said that the whole purpose of this project is the support of all those graduates who due to economic conditions are unable to continue their undergraduate studies .
"We can not claim a bright future if we do not allow students to continue the university," he said during his speech.
While the rector of Bedër University College, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, after thanking the participants for their participation in the activity, touched on the various problems of education of younger generations in our country.
Among other things, he said: "Someone is born rich, someone is born poor, someone in the village, and someone in the city. No one has anything in their hands. Everyone surrenders or suits this situation. We have a chance to think for everyone, with as much capacity as we can. "
Further, the vice-chairman of the Albanian Muslim Community, Mr. Lauren Luli, expressed the full readiness of the institution he represents not only in support of this initiative but also in further cooperation between the two institutions in projects focusing on the education of younger generations .
The project of 100 social scholarships was also welcomed by well-known singers in our country as Ms. Myfarete Laze, Mishela Rapo, Noizy and renowned businessman Mr. Said Fishta, who shared with their audience their support and appreciation for this foundation and university initiative.

The importance of educating young people in reducing radical behaviors and violent extremism
Head of Communications Department at Bedër, Doc.Dr. Ramadan Chipuri attended the 3rd International Congress of "Scholas Chair" in Jerusalem, Israel.
This congress, organized at "Hebrew University of Jerusalem", brought together representatives from over 30 different universities from around the world.
One of the most important issues that was paid attention in the referrals of the participants was the importance of education in reducing the level of radical behavior and violent extremism among young people all over the world. The novelty of this organism was the introduction of concrete projects undertaken by different universities in this regard.
Dr. Chipuri in his speech presented the efforts of the Bedër University College in the fight against radicalism and violent extremism.
According to him, Albania is one of the model countries in terms of interfaith dialogue and harmony. The project initiated by Bedër for co-operation between the theological, the Islamic, Catholic and Orthodox schools and presented by Dr.Cipuri drew the attention of the participants. According to him, thanks to an initiative undertaken by the Islamic Sciences Department in Bedër, from 2014 onwards, more than 20 meetings and joint activities have been organized between three religious schools, such as conferences, seminars, roundtables, staff exchanges, meetings shared among students, etc.
The second initiative presented by Dr. Cheipur was the Coalition of Tolerance, established two years ago by Bedër students in the framework of the P2P Chalinging Extremism project. According to him, this alliance which started as an initiative within the country, now has returned to the region with members from Kosovo, Macedonia and beyond. Dr. MacPuri proposed that this initiative should be turned into a joint organization with all participating universities in Congress, a proposal that was welcomed by the participants.
