Turning to a tradition, the 9th edition of the "Work & Study" fair, organized by the Municipality of Tirana, Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Education and Sports opened in the premises of the Congress Palace.
This fair, which will be held from 28-29 to 30 March 2018, is an event where the best study opportunities and current labor market demands are presented, with the participation of over 60 companies, various institutions and universities, among others and the "Bedër" University College.
Present at the opening ceremony of the fair was the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nikolin Jaka, personalities who kept the word of chance during the opening of the fair.

"One more book for Presevo" campaign was closed successfully
The students of the second year of the Master's degree program in Communication Sciences, "Bedër" University College successfully closed their quarterly campaign "One more book for Presevo".
Special guests of this activity were the top leaders of the local government in the areas where Albanians live in Serbia, namely the head of the Albanian National Council, Shukri Ymeri, the vice-president Ardita Sinani, the mayor of Bujanovac, Shaip Kamberi, and the representative of Presevo municipality, Almir Shaqiri. There were also missing representatives of the academic world, journalism and civil society.
The activity was conceived in the form of a cultural-artistic program, where he had various ballet performances, performances and songs. Attendees were able to follow two prepared documentaries on the areas where Albanians live in Serbia, and they exposed above all the work done in the campaign by the students, who confirmed the collection of 2,000 books in Albanian, which will go to the libraries in Presevo and Bujanovac.
The campaign "One more book for Presevo" exceeded the initial objectives for collecting a thousand books, thanks to the contribution of Albanian citizens, schools and publishing houses. But collecting two thousand books and giving a message of solidarity and brotherhood to Albanians in Serbia was not the only good news in this activity, as the rector of the College College "Beder", Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana shared with the attendees the decision of the institution he leads, for granting 15 scholarships in the next academic year for students coming from the Presevo Valley.
Senior Albanian officials in Serbia, Shukri Ymeri and Mr. Shaip Kamberi expressed sincere gratitude for the initiative of the students of the "Bedër" University College for collecting Albanian books, evaluating this as an initiative. Mr. Ymeri and Kamberi considered the excellent decision to award 15 scholarships from "Bedër" University College for Albanian students to Serbia and promised cooperation with the Bedër University College in the future. The Mayor of Bujanovac invited the students of the campaign "Another book for Presevo" and the leaders of "Bedër" to visit the area.
Finally, the group of students who conducted this campaign and the leading lecturer Edlira Mali thanked all the contributors and left open the possibility for anyone to continue to donate Albanian books to students in the Presevo Valley, who for years suffer the lack of Albanian textbooks.

International Competition Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, under the administration of ILSA, brings together international law students from across the globe. Already in its 59th year, Jessup is the world's largest international competition for law students, attending over 700 Universities worldwide. The international rounds will be held on 1 to 8 April 2018 at the Hyatt Regency in Kapitol Hill, Washington, DC.
The competition consists of a case in which the group of students of the law "Bedër" University College composed of: Albi Çela, Angji Agushi, Ornela Bego, Thoma Kristo and Ermelinda Gjeci will represent Albania in this competition edition.
Faced with the judges of the International Court of Justice, students will present the arguments prepared on the Case Concerning the Egart and the Ibra, which includes topics on the validity of an interstate arbitration award, sovereignty, territorial waters violation, the nuclear war regime, use of force, international humanitarian law, etc. The team has researched and prepared substantive verbal arguments to represent any aspect of the dispute.
Prior to the departure for us, D.C organized a public pleading, where they presented their arguments before the students and the academic faculty of the university. This is so that the team prepares and contributes to maintaining the tradition of Moot Court in Bedër.
