Presentation of the campaign: "Save the tradition, celebrate as Albanians"
The students of the Master Program in Communication Sciences, Bedër University College, presented the sensitizing campaign: "Save the tradition, celebrate as albanian".
Attending the event were the Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Rahim Ombashi, Head of Department of Communication Sciences, Dr. Erlis Çela, who expressed their appreciation for the initiative of master students to undertake an intrigue campaign to preserve Albanian folklore.
Pedagogy of the subject, Edlira Mali, who is also co-ordinator of the campaign, gave a reflection of campaigns over the years, noting the awareness of the society on the issues raised.
The campaign was presented to the students of Bedër University College and not only, with the documentary of director Adela Peeva, "Whose is this song?"
Under the moderation of student Donisa Perseku, the activity reflected the idea of the campaign and its main purpose for raising awareness for the preservation of our roots. The campaign will continue in the coming months with a series of activities with the center of Albanian folklore.
Bedër agreement with Zhejiang Normal University
In the framework of expanding international collaborations, Bedër University College signed a cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Normal University (China). This university is among the top educated institutions in China and world-wide. In addition to local language programs, the university offers many study programs in English.
Zhejiang Normal University is located in Zhejiang province, one of China's most economically developed provinces.
This university has 19 colleges (faculties), 4 campuses, about 35,000 students and about 1580 members of academic staff.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of Bedër University College, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana and Deputy Zhejiang Normal University President of International Relations, Prof. Dr. Zhang Genfu. Both institutions will have the co-operation to develop projects in areas of common interest. Universities agreed to exchange academic staff, organize seminars and conferences, as well as various scientific projects.

The Department of Islamic Sciences at Bedër University College today organized a panel titled "Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s), mercy for the worlds".
Invited to this moderated panel by the Veton Tulla lecturer, was the deputy head of KMSH, Bujar Spahiu, and Dr. Xhemal Saferti, a lecturer at this department, who kept their papers about birth, mercy, kindness, the favors Allah has made to the believers by sending Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s) between them.
The deputy chairman of the KMSH-së in his speech said: "The prophet a.s was the banner of forgiveness, mercy, and compassion." Based on this, anyone who loves and follows Muhammad Mustafa should be an ideal example for the society where he lives. "

Bedër opens the academic year 2018-2019
The University College Bedër opened today the new academic year 2018-2019. Present at the ceremony organized at the university premises were students, parents, academic and administrative staff, representatives of various educational institutions, and the Ambassador of Austria in Tirana, Johann Sattler.
Rector of University College Bedër, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, during his greeting speech, expressed the willingness of the university to find students in their journey. Xhonledi Spahiu, on behalf of young students, and one of the beneficiaries of the Excellence Scholarships awarded by the Bedër University College this year, showed the reasons for selecting this university to continue her university career.

The Office of Graduates in Bedër in cooperation with the Department of Communication Sciences organized today the first meeting between generations for this academic year.
The invited were Bedër’s graduates, Ejup Lila, journalist at Radio Spectrum and Ingrid Domi, Advisor to the Mayor of Shijak.
Graduates shared with the students of communication sciences their experiences, starting from those who were students, the challenges of the profession.
The meeting with graduate students is a practice pursued for years at Bedër University College.
The Department of Communication Sciences organized the screening of the movie "AZIZI" by author Luljeta Progni for the students of Bedër University.
The film reveals what has been concealed for 70 years by all Albanian politicians, communist terror against innocent Albanians: women, children and the elderly.
What makes the film is simply setting up the camera in 1948-1954, in some of the most notorious camps: Kuçova, Berat, Turan and Tepelenë, without adding or removing anything from the truth.
Azizi is a film based on the confessions of survivors in the internment camps, the first years of persecution by the communist regime.
After the film screening, students had the opportunity to discuss the film theme with the author and film production team.
Investigative journalist Gjergj Erebara was invited to a conversation with students of Communication Sciences on the topic: "Investigative Journalism; challenges and opportunities in the Albanian reality. "
Mr. Erebara is currently a journalist of the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network in Albania (BIRN).
During the open lecture was discussed about the practices of investigative journalism in Albania, its importance as well as the challenges young journalists encounter in the workplace. He shared with students theories about media funding sources and the impact they have on media and information resources.

The founder and editorial director of RevistaWho.com Mr. Eraldo Rexho was the first guest for this academic year in the MarCom seminar series.
The seminar on "Pink Journalism in Internet Time" was held in the premises of the Media Museum with the students of the communication department.
During the seminar, the journalism, challenges, and advantages of this kind of journalism were discussed today. The students showed interest in the reports of the guests with the lice, as well as the balances to be set between ethics and pink news.
Mr. Eraldo Rexho, shared with the students the communication experiences and the first difficulties of the professional journey. While conversation with students continued on the trends and influence of new media in relation to the pink reports.
